Walk to Interventions

Our kindergarten team implemented a Walk to Interventions math block focused on helping students build a strong understanding of teen numbers. Teachers worked collaboratively to plan targeted lessons, grouping students based on the specific skills they needed to practice.

During this time, students “walk” to different classrooms for instruction. This approach ensures each child receives the support they need while also giving them the opportunity to meet new friends and work with different teachers. Through intentional planning and focused instruction, teachers are providing targeted support to improve student outcomes.

This initiative has been a huge success, and we are proud of the growth our kindergarten students are making!
