Fourth graders at Dardenne Elementary took their technology lesson to new heights after reading Balloons Over Broadway. Inspired by the story, students designed their own creative parade balloons using cups, paper, and plenty of imagination.
Once their masterpieces were complete, the real fun began. Using Sphero Bolts, students guided their balloons through the streets of “Sphero Town,” creating a lively mini–parade right in the tech lab.
It was a hands-on, high-energy lesson that blended literacy, creativity, and technology—showcasing just how innovative learning can be.
