Dardenne Elementary’s 2nd annual Walk -A- Thon
What is a Walk-A-Thon? The Dardenne Walk-A-Thon is a kid-powered fundraiser. On Wednesday, April 2nd, the students will walk laps around our track during the day at Dardenne. The students will ask donors to donate whatever amount they feel comfortable donating before the event. The Walk-A-Thon is a fun celebration of their hard work!
Why are we doing a Walk-A-Thon? It will be our big fundraiser for the year. We hope to raise $15,000 to help improve our playground and fund our PTC-sponsored programs.
When are all Pledges due by? Thursday, March 20th, by the end of the day.
How do I get started?
Online: Setting up your child’s fundraising page to request pledges takes just minutes. To add your child as a participant, please follow these three easy steps:
1. Go to this link - https://app.99pledges.com/fund/2025DardenneElementary/addme
2. Enter your child’s name, email(s), and select their group.
3. Click “Add” > This will take you to your newly created pledge page!
Paper: If you are unable to register with the website, you can also collect cash and check donations. Checks can be written to Dardenne Elementary PTC. Write “Walk-A-Thon” and your child’s name and grade on the envelope. Please turn it in to the school by Thursday, 3/20.
Now, all you have to do is donate for whatever amount you can and share your child’s pledge page link with friends and family. Please email ptcdardenne@gmail.com if you have any questions! Our goal is 100% participation, so no amount is too small!
